AUSTRAC Urges Inactive Digital Currency Exchanges to Withdraw Registrations
The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) has recently launched a campaign targeting inactive digital currency exchange (DCE) firms, urging them to either resume operations or withdraw their registrations to avoid cancellation. This initiative, also known as the “Use it or Lose it” campaign, aims to regulate the DCE sector and prevent potential exploitation by criminals. The campaign will also extend to crypto ATM providers, as announced by AUSTRAC.
