In its official press release, the Ohio Lottery clarified that the $300,000 prize was won from a $10 White Diamonds scratcher. This is notably the top prize that White Diamonds players can win.

The Ohio Lottery further elaborated that the ticket was sold at Norton BP, a store located at 3701 Cleveland Massillon Road in Norton. The store will receive a $3,000 sales bonus as compensation for selling the winning ticket.

A stop at the Norton BP turned into a $300,000 windfall for a local customer. The player won the $300,000 top prize in the Ohio Lottery’s $10 White Diamonds scratch-off.

The Ohio Lottery noted that, as of August 21, there were two $300,000 top prizes remaining in the White Diamonds game, as well as “other great prizes.”
